Impact Painting
I’ve had this idea floating in my head for a while now. It first came to me when I was flogging my slave. I started to notice patterns appear on his ass as every stroke landed precisely in its intended place. Then I had this thought, what if I just took this cat o’ nine tails, dipped it in a can of paint and started flogging a canvas? I could create marks that will never fade. The impact of every stroke would remain vivid forever. Hmmm…
After years of thinking and talking about doing it, I finally got it together last week and just did it. I gathered my materials: some paint and canvases, two floggers (one being my favorite cat o’ nine tails), and P, my sub who volunteered to be my easel. I met P at my friend’s backyard. He came dressed in his house painting uniform and prepared two buckets of paint for me. I touched the paint with my floggers. One in the pink, the other in the red…
I had P hold up my canvas, then I flogged it…!
Pink strokes first, then came the red strokes…
It was such a satisfying experience, to see the immediate magnitude of the impact against the canvas in bold colors. I experimented with different strokes, paint thickness, and with P rotating the canvas at different angles…
Now that I have a sense of what an impact painting looks like, I can keep on playing and experimenting with it. I’m curious, what about single tails, and canes and straps? And the layering of colors of textures, and the possible patterns I can create with way larger canvases. What I would love is to find a giant indoor space where I can hang a 8 X 20 ft canvas, get naked, put on my heels, turn on the camera, and flogpaint away. In this way I can actually show the work that went into the work itself.
