Every person in your family is a mirror to your self.

.

If you don’t love someone in your family, you actually don’t love a part of yourself.

Because you are them and they are you.

.

You ever wonder why you’re good with everybody in your life, except with your (insert family member).

Examine that relationship closely.

It’s not about them..

It’s about you.

.

To be annoyed, upset, or shamed of them is to be annoyed, upset, or ashamed of some aspect of yourself.

.

Your relationship to your family is your clearest litmus test to your own self-acceptance and eventual self-realization.

.

If you can develop loving compassion towards your parents and siblings, then you’re well on your path. If you still issues with them, then you still have some issues with yourself..

.

To work on your relationship with your family is to do the hard work on yourself.

If you find yourself ashamed of your family, you’reĀ  of yourself.
