Is this course online or in person?

This is a virtual course, so all sessions are held online. However, at the end of the course, there will be an optional in-person Shadow Series graduation party in the Bay Area, California—a chance to meet in person, celebrate your journey, and play together!

Do I need to take the original MistressClass before enrolling in The Shadow Series? 

No, the two classes are designed to complement each other and can be taken in any order. While MistressClass focuses on in-depth tutorials of BDSM activities, The Shadow Series immerses you in full-length, real-time sessions, allowing you to see how these activities unfold in practice. The only overlap is that both courses cover fundamental BDSM techniques. However, the approach is different: In MistressClass, you learn through structured, detailed tutorials. In The Shadow Series, you observe these fundamentals being applied in real sessions, followed by brief debriefs tutorials and discussions. The Shadow Series is more immersive and edgy than MistressClass, incorporating a wider range of BDSM activities and a raw, hands-on perspective.

Is this class for those with no experience in kink, or is it for those who want to become professional Dominatrixes?

This class is designed for both those who are completely new to kink and want to explore their dominant side, and those who are interested in becoming professional Dommes. My own journey began with no prior experience in kink—I stepped into the world of professional domination as a complete beginner. But the process of learning the craft of being a Pro Domme became the most intensive crash course in kink and personal empowerment that I could have asked for. The Shadow Series mirrors that journey. It’s a holistic course in the art of topping—one that not only teaches BDSM techniques but also helps you find your voice, embody your dominance, and play with your power.

I live outside the U.S., and the time zone difference makes it hard for me to attend live. Can I still participate?

Yes! All classes are recorded, and you’ll have unlimited access to the replays, allowing you to watch them at your convenience. Many past students from Australia and Asia have successfully completed the course by watching the recordings. They’ve shared that they still received the full transmission of the teachings through the replays. As long as you watch the replays in a timely manner, keep up with your Dommework, stay engaged with the Shadow Series community on Telegram, you won’t miss a beat.

How is the Shadow Series different from the original MistressClass Series?

Both the original MistressClass and The Shadow Series offer a deep dive into the art of Female Domination and BDSM, but they take distinct structural and pedagogical approaches. The original MistressClass is designed with a more formal training structure. It includes:

• Mini shadow sessions (~20 minutes in length)
• Tutorials on fundamental BDSM activities
• Guest Domme speakers
• 1:1 interaction and play with Colette’s veteran submissives
• Pro Domme business teatime chats
• A longer timeline (12 weeks, with class every other Sunday)

Held in my home and sanctuary, MistressClass has a “light and approachable” atmosphere, making it an accessible entry point into FemDom. By contrast, The Shadow Series takes a dramatically different approach, built around the idea that you can learn how to be a Dominatrix simply by shadowing full-length sessions—just as I did when working at a commercial dungeon. There’s no formal instruction; instead, you absorb the craft by observing, until you “get it” and feel ready to step into the role.

In this series, you’ll shadow hour-long, full-length BDSM sessions taking place in my private dungeon, witnessing:

• Negotiation and consent-building
• Scene build-up, climax, and aftercare
• Session pacing, flow, and rhythm
• Transitions between activities and positions
• Layering multiple BDSM techniques
• Energetic dynamics between Domme and sub
• The art of improvisation in BDSM

You’ll also shadow guest Dommes as they conduct full-length scenes, exposing you to different styles, techniques, and energies.

While MistressClass provides a structured, guided introduction to FemDom, The Shadow Series is an immersive, raw, and edgy experience, streaming directly from my dungeon. It offers a deeper look into the nuances of BDSM and scene creation—allowing you to witness, absorb, and embody the role of a Dominatrix through real-time observation. After shadowing the sessions, we’ll deconstruct the scene from the Domme and sub perspective, offer mini tutorials on the activities applied in the scene and open up the space to Q&A.
